I have an appointment with the Chinese Visa application service centre on Monday at 9am. The Chinese visa is the last one we must have before leaving Australia as we can get the others on-route.
We purchased new backpacks for this trip as our old ones had worn out over the past 20+ years of travelling. We decided to go for a backpack with wheels this time after seeing Gui and Vicki's packs on our South American trip. Our new packs are made by Caribee and have 4x4 wheels that should last the distance. We will let you know how they go. They are already packed with the majority of things we are taking.
